These three hinterland hamlets are full of amazing local producers and farm gate experiences. This June long weekend, the Central Coast will come together for the region's annual harvest festival giving you the chance experience new things to do and discover locally made foods, drinks and more! Get your friends together and support our wonderful local community.

When: Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 June 2026 across the Central Coast's Hinterland.

Meet the local farm animals, taste the 'farm to plate' produce and say hello to hardworking farmers as you encounter these picturesque hamlets on your Harvest Festival journey.

Platypus Day

Learn about water creatures

Celebrate the amazing platypus that inhabit Wyong river. Learn about their habitat, what they eat and how they protect themselves. Go on a waterbug hunt, watch a wildlife show and spot the local birdlife while you enjoy a walk through the stunning village of Mardi. 

  

  

Yarramalong Bush Dance

Bush dancing

A fun, beginner-friendly family dance night with easy group dances, no partner needed, sausage sizzle on site, and live country music by The Waterbombers band.

Stop for a bite to eat
