The Peninsula on the Central Coast is defined by water, wildlife and a relaxed coastal rhythm. Surrounded by ocean, lakes and beaches, it’s a place for slow exploration, with hidden pockets of creativity and artist spaces waiting quietly to be discovered.

The Itinerary

This region stretches from Patonga, a quiet and much-loved seaside hamlet in the south, to the historic waterfront town of Woy Woy, and over to Empire Bay, and dotted in between are artist studios and spaces.

Marijke Greenway

A painter with more than 40 years of experience, who has developed a distinctive visual language shaped by an intense and joyful relationship with colour with inspiration of the Australian landscape.

Mary Hyland

Silver smith trained artist. Specialising in silver and gold jewellery.

Cecile Ferguson

An artist who has been instrumental in organising various art exhibitions within the Pearl Beach village and is an organiser for the Pearl Beach Art Trails which are held three times a year. Cecile’s art focuses mainly on beach landscapes, wildflowers and still life.

Meet Christina at her studio, she uses clay as her canvas, creating bold, one-off ceramic wares that blur the line between art and function. Intricately etched and decorated where colour becomes a defined element.

Ettalong Beach Arts and Craft Centre

A creative community of artisans united by passion, spanning painting, jewellery, quilting and pottery, each bringing unique perspectives, skills and stories to a shared, inspiring, vibrant community art centre space.

Bay Gallery

Bay Gallery (Art Studios Cooperative) is home to six professional, committed artists. Monthly exhibitions show a diverse range of works across visual arts practice.

Deep Water Art Space

A Central Coast-based collective of 20 Central Coast artists who volunteer their time to create a gallery, workshop and community space in an empty shop within Deepwater Plaza.

Belinda Lindhardt

Belinda Lindhardt is a multidisciplinary artist where stories take shape through colour and storytelling. Alongside creating original works, various workshops are delivered to support the development of one's own creative expression.

Theia Studios

An artist-run creative space with  a dedicated gallery, studio, and workshop space. Theia presents exhibitions, classes, and community projects across a range of multidisciplinary practices including textiles, ceramics, 2D and 3D work, and digital media.
