These lively well-known suburbs are dotted along the sparkling coastline, almost smack-bang in the middle of the Central Coast, occupying prime beachside space for surfers, beachgoers, and nature lovers alike. And with this, come the perfect spot for art studios and creative spaces.

The Itinerary

As well as this the Headlands boasting beautiful sandy stretches, you find a network of artists working in their spaces creating pottery, jewellery, sculptures, paintings and eclectic spaces full of unique finds.

Saturday 10am-4pm & Sunday 9am-3pm, Avoca Beach

Explore the diversity of works and items produced by local creatives. Established in 1972, by 3 local potters, The Mouse Hole is an eclectic space supporting local potters, artists and craftspeople.

Maksim Kuznetcov

10am-4pm, Avoca Beach

Maksim Kuznetcov is a contemporary artist exploring human emotion through sculptural forms inspired by nature. Working primarily in clay, he creates symbolic works translating pride, love and vulnerability into tactile, organic forms that invite reflection, connection and appreciation of states.

Suzie Goumas Art

Daily 9am-4pm, Copacabana

A mixed media artist who explores new ways in creating texture throughout her work. Has been featured at Bluethumb online art gallery, creator of the Swell Art Collective and a member of the Central Coast Art Collective and Deepwater Art Space.

David Charles Artist

10am-3pm, Copacabana

Dave Charles is a well known local artist, famed for plein air painting by the beach. His work reflects 30 years’ experience, specialising in seascapes, boat reflections and modern styles. He paints alongside his daughter, Katharine, exhibiting together in gallery.

Bobbie P Gallery

Saturday and Sunday 10am-3pm, Terrigal

Robyn Pedley is passionate to discover the essence of the land through her large works on canvas.  She exhibits regularly in solo and group shows and her works are held in corporate and private collections throughout Australia and internationally.

Works on paper and  acrylics on canvas is the predominate artworks produced, including reproductions on cards and posters.

Chris Pothof, founder of Wood Tamer, an Australian platform dedicated to traditional green wood carving. An intersection of craftsmanship and education, drawing on hand tool traditions while encouraging people to slow down and create.
