These diverse towns are centres for business, as well as being major hubs for transportation, entertainment and leisure, whether it be theatre, the craft brewing scene or shopping. Artists are flocking to these vibrant towns to immerse themselves in their creativity.

With an array of art collectives and community studio spaces, plus established and emerging artists called this region home, you will be inspired and delighted with the talent and creativity that awaits you. 

The Makers Studio

10am-3pm, East Gosford

Step inside this vibrant community of 98 members, including artists, designers, crafters, and arts workers offers opportunities for artistic development, skill sharing, and community engagement across diverse disciplines and experience levels. Through workshops, exhibitions, and events, the Makers Studio inspires participation and nurtures emerging talent.

  

  

  

The Central Coast Art Society Inc

Saturday 9am-8pm & Sunday 10am-2pm, East Gosford

Founded in 1971, hosting two exhibitions annually and offering artists a platform to showcase their work, weekly paint-outs, monthly workshops, and social outings, are the key component to enriching the community's creativity.

  

  

  

  

Central Coast Bonsai Club

Saturday 10am-3pm & Sunday 10am-2pm, East Gosford

Meet the artists and learn how Bonsai combines artistic skill and horticultural knowledge with a good measure of patience. A bonsai artist works over many years and uses many techniques to create the various elements of the bonsai. 

  

 

 

 

Central Coast Potters Society

Saturday 10am-4pm and Sunday 10am-3pm, East Gosford

Come and get your hands dirty and meet the ceramists who make this space thrive. Central Coast Potters Society (CCPS) is a non-profit, community organisation of like-minded artists who love clay. 

  

  

  

  

Central Coast Handweavers, Spinners & Textile Arts Guild Inc

10am-3pm, East Gosford

Immerse yourself with a collective of fibre and textiles arts that bring together people with a love of creativity.   Witness spinning, weaving, felting, knitting, crochet, embroidery, patchwork and quilting.

  

Penelope Jayne

10am-4pm, Erina

Penelope Jayne is a multidisciplinary artist working in oil painting and ceramics, and draws on mythology, nature, and the feminine spirit. With a focus on beauty, symbolism, and soulful expression, each piece becomes a soulful invitation into light, texture, and meaning.

  

  

Bronwen Bassett

10am-4pm, Narara

Meet Bronwen, along with Kristine Pedler, Lynn Treers, John Seed and George Gilmour who are part of the Artists of Narara, will be sharing a diverse range of disciplines including sculptures, printmaking, painting and ceramics. 

  

Linda Scott

9am-5pm, Narara

Meet Linda, a multidisciplinary artist whose discipline covers pottery, clay, metal, rope and gourd carving and more. Her hobbit style art studio has received much attention, and will be one of the venues at Narara Ecovillage to display our art.

  

Shabby Shac Studio

9am-5pm, West Gosford

Kim Rowley invites you into Shabby Shac Studio. A small, artisan studio with a passion for bespoke, sustainable, intentional designs, with products that are reminiscent of the Australian landscape. While you are there book a watercolour journalling and textile workshop. 

  

 

  

RE-Lit

9am-5pm, West Gosford

Meet visual artist Kim Lawsom, who uses vintage, recycled reclaimed materials to create playful poignant and quirky thought-provoking narratives. Each piece beckons you to look closer, to see beyond the surface and to embrace an environmental conscience. Through the lens of assemblage, Kim offers a glimpse into a world where every discarded fragment holds potential. 

  

Minka Gillian

10am-4pm, West Gosford

Meet Minka Gillian as she welcomes you to her studio where you will see handwoven sculptures made from reclaimed materials. Using recycled wire, beads, netting, and domestic remnants, which result in soft and immersive sculptures. Each piece becomes a quiet act of resistance against disposability, celebrating repair, transformation, and the tactile intelligence of the hands.
