ABOUT LOCO KOEKSISTER DAY
1. Koeksisters are cinnamon yeast doughnuts served hot and sprinkled with coconut.
2. Koeksisters are a South African Cape Malay weekend breakfast tradition, dating back around 300 years.
3. South Africa has another sweet called Koeksister. It is not the same. These are the Cape Malay style yeast doughnuts, served hot. Not the twisty kind.
4. Preordering your koeksisters and we’ll do our best to make sure you get them.
