Fresh Find #3 - New maker & creator to explore
CLINQ

When it comes to unique and detail obsessed barware and wine accessories you really can’t look past local designer Lucy Holland. The former rocket scientist is the founder and design guru of CLINQ and the self-confessed social butterfly with a passion for wine and design was how CLINQ come about. Her boutique designs are made to inspire occasions and create memories which she holds close to her heart.

Fresh Find #4 - New places to stay
Cosy Coastal Cottage

Just because the Central Coast is known for its summer time vibes, doesn’t mean you should bypass the Coast this winter.  We’ve found a luxurious Hampton’s beach front cottage that makes the perfect wintry getaway. Cosy up for the weekend in Patonga in a lovingly renovated 2-bedroom holiday rental called The Pines. You'll forget about those winter blues and chilly evenings when you sink yourself into the luxurious cedar hot tub and unwind in the outdoor cedar sauna.  With oak flooring throughout, a free-standing stone bath, indoor fireplace and panoramic views of the ocean, it will be hard to leave this little gem.

Nestled away from the hustle and bustle, the seaside hamlet of Patonga has everything you need for a tranquil stay. Take an early morning stroll along the beach and keep a look out to sea because you may spot a Humpback whale or two on their migration.  Stop by The Boathouse Hotel to fuel your body with a nurishing breaky and hot coffee. Grab your walking boots and hike the walking trails of the Great North Walk or take a cruise along the mighty Hawkesbury with Heritage Ventures to hear all about the region’s rich history. Be back in time to watch the sunset over the bay as you reflect on the magic of the Central Coast during the cooler months.
