We are lucky enough to be spoilt for choice with fantastic things to do and fresh local produce to taste in Somersby. This June long weekend, our region will come together for the region's annual harvest festival giving you the chance to enjoy farms, locally made foods, drinks and more! Get your friends together and support our wonderful local community.

Coachwood Nursery

Succulents, rare plants and workshops

Come and enjoy this unique organic nursery & farm in Somersby. The nursery features a beautiful range of indoor and outplants, succulents, fresh and dried plants. Stay and take a workshop and use succulents or dried flowers to create a beautiful keepsake. For those green finger gardeners, enjoy an organic garden workshop and guided tour of the farm. 

  

  

Artisan Estate

Pecan picking

A Harvest Festival favourite! Pick your own Pecans at Artisan Estate amongst 400 beautiful pecan trees. Watch tree shaking and agricultural demonstrations which are on throughout the weekend. This is a fun filled family event that can't be missed. 

  

Sustainable natives

A gardener's dream

Enjoy time to explore this native production nursery and see the diverse range of native plants the nursery propagates and grows to help attract birds and other fauna to the Central Coast. Nursery tours are available to learn about the process how the nursery's work is helping local bush regeneration. Plants can be purchased so you too can grow them at home.

This June long weekend, join us as we celebrate being named Visit Australia’s best Major Tourist Attraction. Enjoy a packed program of double croc shows, engaging zookeeper talks and free face painting for kids, all included with general admission. Pick your own mandarins

Come and visit the mandarin orchards and enjoying picking the zesty fruit!  Bring along a picnic, or grab a coffee and pastry from some of our fabulous vendors, and sit within our wild grass picnic area to pause and reconnect with nature before continuing on with your adventure on the Harvest Trail.
