Eva’s Patisserie

Eva's Patisserie

Eva's Patisserie believe you deserve to enjoy the best, and we strive to bring it to you.
For all types of celebration, event or lazy Sunday afternoon we want you to have not only an exceptionally presented cake, but for each bite to take you on a journey through varying textures and beautifully balanced flavours.

For Brian it all really started as a young boy in his grandmothers (Munga’s) kitchen, mainly licking bowls and beaters as she made every kind of cake, slice or biscuit known to man.

Brian’s early working life was in retail management, then with over 20 years experience Brian dedicated himself over the next ten years to teaching Self Defence and Martial Arts to school children right across Sydney and later, thanks to a career opportunity for his wife Joanne, to Port Macquarie. It was here that he started to grow his love for good food and in particular, good patisserie. With the birth of their daughter Eva, Brian gave up his career to concentrate on raising their daughter. While being a full-time stay-at-home dad, Brian’s passion for patisserie grew and he was able to find a TAFE with day care and start his journey on learning the fine art of patisserie by simultaneously completing his certificates 3 and 4.

Brian started Eva’s Patisserie (“…because Brian’s Patisserie sounds blah”) in 2015, selling his delicacies at local markets. However due to the fickle nature of markets and the ongoing constraints of parenthood, Brian decided to re-focus on a project where he could more easily balance both.

Brian is still working hard as a stay-at-home Dad, but even with Eva’s 5 dance classes a week he cannot deny his passion for the sweet and delicate art of patisserie. The focus and discipline he learned in Martial Arts he has re-directed to creating amazing and delicious cakes and desserts for the good people of the Central Coast. His cakes are made with the latest Patisserie techniques that he continues to learn from around the world, using and showcasing the highest quality ingredients, locally sourcing wherever possible, and always with love and passion.
