The Central Coast community has an amazing range of holiday activity fun on during these school holidays. With activities for the adventure seeker, the creator, baker and gamer, you kids won't be bored these holidays! Many of the events are free and some require a booking to reserve your space. So, without delay, check out the events below in our local libraries, leisure centres, gallery, theatre and community, you will be kept very busy!

Pelican Time | Everday | 3:30pm | The Entrance | Free

The free education talks cover interesting facts on pelicans, including care and rescue of pelicans in the wild, plus ways that we can all help protect pelicans and their environment by being waste wise when fishing and visiting this area.

Dreamcatchers originate from one of the largest Native American tribes in North America, the Ojibwe Tribe. According to tradition, they were first created by the tribe’s spiritual leader to help protect children in their sleep.

Christmas in July scratch board antlers | 10 July | 10.30-11.30am | Kincumber | $8.00

Join us to create a colourful reindeer ears using scratch board art. Just scratch onto the brown surface and your drawings will appear in multicolour!

Mod podge upcycling | 9 July |10am-12.30pm | Tuggerah Library | $8.00

Create your own unique item using a mixture of Mod Podge and manga, comics or vintage paper. Then embellish your creation with diamantes, studs and fabric paint.

Help us celebrate 50 years of NAIDOC, by making scratch art with Indigenous designs and colours. Enjoy a creative and mindful craft, while honouring our Indigenous community.

Join our fun, practical Scratch coding workshop designed to cover the basics of coding and animating while creating your own interactive, NAIDOC-themed game! This session is beginner-friendly and we will supply everything - just bring your imagination.

Let your imagination run wild as you learn methods and techniques used to paint miniature tabletop gaming models and create scenery to display them or use in your own games.

Beginners Stop Motion Animation | 7 July |10.30am-12.30pm | Erina Library | $8.00

Delve into the world of stop motion to create a short film. A selection of manipulatives will be provided on the day, but if you have Lego or miniatures that you would like to use, please bring them along.
