Meet native Australian wildlife on Heritage-listed bushland
The Australia Walkabout Wildlife Park is a working wildlife sanctuary located in Calga, on the Central Coast hinterland of New South Wales. Our ranger team believe in conservation through education, as we care for and protect hundreds of rescued, orphaned, unreleasable, disabled and retired animals every year, as well as help protect the many wild animals living in our 180 acres of natural Aussie bushland. Our sanctuary is located on Heritage-listed Aboriginal cultural landscape, with bushwalks available to see some of the important, protected sites for our local indigenous communities.
We invite you to meet our amazingly diverse community of animals - many rescued, endangered or vulnerable - who all call Walkabout Wildlife Park home:
Free-roaming Kangaroos, Wallabies, Wallaroo and more macropods.
Free-roaming Emu (Happy Feet will probably introduce himself when you're having lunch)
… and let’s not forget Waffles the "Miniature" Pig!
We hope you enjoy getting to see, feel and hear the sounds of our special sanctuary in the Australian bush!
Please get in touch with us directly to arrange accommodation, night tours, virtual tours, and any other special requests we can help with.
