The Central Coast Marine Discovery Centre
The newly revamped Central Coast Marine Discovery Centre is open!
The Central Coast Marine Discovery Centre at Terrigal has something for everyone, children and adults. Our aim is to teach the wonder of the oceans through our displays and interactive activities. View our display of the sinking of the HMAS Adelaide, revealing the beautiful corals and fish proliferating on the artificial reef. Learn about local rock pools from our own artificial touch pool, explore our whale, shark, bird and heritage exhibits and observe the fish feeding.
Crafts are available for children, including painting a sea creature, building a whale, making an anemone or turtle, or they can do a treasure hunt and win a prize!
Pauly at Parklife Coffee produces delicious healthy fresh food and drinks. The park overlooks the protected Terrigal Lagoon, with amazing bird life and native plants, and includes a safe, modern children’s playground. Parents can enjoy their lunch while watching their children play on the equipment!
