The Central Coast community has an amazing range of holiday activity fun on during these school holidays. With activities for the adventure seeker, the creator, baker and gamer, you kids won't be bored these holidays! Many of the events are free and some require a booking to reserve your space. So, without delay, check out the events below in our local libraries, leisure centres, gallery, theatre and community, you will be kept very busy!

Pelican Time | Everday | 3:30pm | The Entrance | Free

The free education talks cover interesting facts on pelicans, including care and rescue of pelicans in the wild, plus ways that we can all help protect pelicans and their environment by being waste wise when fishing and visiting this area.

Create your own unique item using a mixture of Mod Podge and manga, comics or vintage paper. Then embellish your creation with diamantes, studs and fabric paint.

Join 2024 Gosford Art Prize Winner artist Maree Azzopardi for this popular Expressive Drawing class using charcoal and pastels. Students are asked to bring an old T-Shirt to wear as protective clothing.

Drive out to Mangrove Creek Dam Visitor Centre for a great day out. Our water education team will be on site sharing how water makes its way from the catchment to your tap across the Central Coast.

Calling all Minecraft fans! This is a fund and vibrant class for kids who love building fun pixel worlds. Learn to create pixelated portraits and your favourite animals such as the axolot! Using tiny squares.

Rip, cut and glue to create your own masterpiece using our collection of collage materials. Then, for the finishing flourish, add your very own handmade tassel.

We'll read a selection of fantastic books from the K–2 list, helping you tick off titles while enjoying great stories together. After the readings, stay for a fun craft activity inspired by the books we explore.
