Built in 2021, Terrigal Boardwalk, is a 227-metre raised wooden walkway that connects Terrigal foreshore with The Haven. The immaculately crafted, accessible, boardwalk hugs the rocky headland on one side, while the other side provides a sensational view of the invigorating ocean. Inspired by the wave and shape of the sandstone rockface, the boardwalk winds its way to a viewing platform over the crystal clear ocean below, then around the headland past the restored rockpool and onto the foreshore.

Terrigal Beach
Make your way to the southern end of Terrigal Esplanade and Terrigal Beach. Before you begin your walk along the 227-metre boardwalk, grab a coffee at Aromas On Sea for a morning pick-me-up.

Terrigal Rockpools
If you and the kids brought your swimmers, take a short detour off the start of the boardwalk and take a dip at Terrigal Rock Pool. This small, manmade rock pool is a great option for those with little kids who want a calmer spot to swim. Please note that Terrigal Rock Pool is not patrolled by life guards.

The Haven
Located at Broken Head in Terrigal, The Haven is a calm, protected area for a bout of snorkelling and swimming and boat launches and leads to The Skillion. Feast on Spanish-inspired share plates at Amarilla, and soak in the view across The Haven to Terrigal Beach. Order dinner at Trojan's Restuarant and Sports bar, enjoying views out to The Skillion and the kids will love kicking a ball on Terrigal Haven field below. Diving tours and fishing charters leave from this location too.

At the end of Terrigal Haven, head to Terrigal Point, a rock platform that's accessible at low tide. This spot is great for sunset shots of Terrigal.
