The Creative Spaces program provides an opportunity for local creatives to utilise the Gallery Container located in the Toukley Village Green in the heart of the Toukley town centre to host exhibitions, workshops and installations.

Come and explore this volunteer run space for silverwork, gems and minerals, beading, enamelling, carving, casting, and faceting enthusiasts. Skilled tutors provide opportunities to learn new skills and explore creativity in a friendly and social environment.  

  

Central Coast Woodturners

Meet the creators and see demonstrations by the Central Coast Woodturners which was formed in 1985 by a group of enthusiasts, to promote the art of woodturning and relative crafts such as scroll sawing, woodcarving, pyrography and toy making.   

                                                         

John Lynch Sculpture

Meet John in his gallery and studio, and view his extensive collection of sculptures.  A sculpture for 40 years, you can expect to see works in a range of materials including sandstone, marble, timber, bronze, plaster, steel, concrete and paper.

Take a glimpse behind the scenes at the Central Coast Bonsai Club. Meet the artists and learn how Bonsai combines artistic skill and horticultural knowledge with a good measure of patience. A bonsai artist works over many years and uses many techniques to create the various elements of the bonsai so that it is in proportion and mimics the stature and grace of a mature tree.

  

 

 

Central Coast Potters Society

Come and get your hands dirty and meet the ceramists who make this space thrive. Central Coast Potters Society (CCPS) is a non-profit, community organisation of like-minded artists who love clay. Meet Bronwen who is part of the Artists of Narara. Bronwen along with other artists will be sharing a diverse range of disciplines including sculptures, printmaking, painting and ceramics. Meet Linda, a multidisciplinary artist whose discipline covers pottery, clay, metal, rope and gourd carving and more. Her hobbit style art studio has received much attention, and will be one of the venues at Narara Ecovillage to display our art.

Kim Rowley invites you into Shabby Shac Studio. A small, artisan studio with a passion for bespoke, sustainable, intentional designs, with products that are reminiscent of the Australian landscape. While you are there book a watercolour journalling and textile workshop.

Through the lens of assemblage, Kim offers a glimpse into a world where every discarded fragment holds potential.

Meet Minka Gillian as she welcomes you to her studio where you will see handwoven sculptures made from reclaimed materials. Using recycled wire, beads, netting, and domestic remnants, which result in soft and immersive sculptures. Each piece becomes a quiet act of resistance against disposability, celebrating repair, transformation, and the tactile intelligence of the hands.
