Make the most of your Dine & Discover NSW vouchers on the Coast

If you haven’t heard of Dine & Discover vouchers you must still be living in 'iso', as these freebies are the little boost we all need right now, with the opportunity to use your vouchers at select cafes, restaurants, bars and entertainment venues - it's time to make a plan to support local.

Introduced by the NSW Government in March 2021, Dine & Discover NSW is an initiative that invites the community to support local dining, arts, recreation and our valued tourism businesses while Australia remains firmly closed to visitors.

With the Central Coast being such a vast area to explore with a raft of places accepting the vouchers, you need a suburb by suburb map of where to spend your digital gift. We've created this guide especially for your planning. Try new places to eat and play courtesy of the NSW Government and the Central Coast’s COVID-Safe businesses - from Avoca Beach to Yarramalong! Experience paintballing in Kulnura, to meeting meerkats in Calga, to brunching at Long Jetty cafes, to whale watching at Terrigal - there's plenty to do if you follow this list.

When do my Dine & Discover vouchers expire?

Vouchers are now valid until 30 June 2022. The program has been extended to give NSW residents plenty of time to apply and find local spots to use them. Make a little mark in your social calendar – Dine & Discover ends on the extended date of Tuesday 30 June 2022.

Simply use your vouchers at any participating business on, or before, that date to help drive our Central Coast community businesses forward toward recovery.

 

How does Dine & Discover NSW work?

All NSW residents aged 18 and over can apply for 6 x $25 vouchers, worth $150 in total.

Dine & Discover NSW vouchers sit in two categories:

• Dine NSW vouchers — 3 x $25 vouchers for dining in restaurants, cafes, bars, wineries, pubs and clubs.
• Discover NSW vouchers — 3 x $25 vouchers for entertainment and recreation, including cultural institutions, live music, and arts venues.

Where can I use my Dine & Discover NSW vouchers?

You can search for participating businesses using the Dine & Discover NSW business finder. 

The kind of places you can use your vouchers include cafes and restaurants, pubs, taverns, bars, wineries and clubs, scenic and sightseeing transport, cinemas, museums, galleries and historic sites, zoos, botanic gardens, wildlife parks and nature reserves, live music operations, performing arts operations, theatres and entertainment centres, amusement, theme and water parks, recreational activities such as go-karting, indoor climbing, mini-golf, bowling, outdoor adventures, travel agencies and tours… Now don’t say you’re short on choice of things to do this next month!

 

How do I apply for my $150 in vouchers?

It only takes minutes to register on your smartphone, and less than an hour to be verified. To participate in Dine & Discover NSW, you will need to have a MyServiceNSW account first.

You will also need:

• 2x proof of identity documents (Australian drivers licence, Medicare card or Australian passport).
• Smartphone to download the Service NSW app and use your vouchers.

Dine & Discover NSW vouchers can only be used within businesses that have implemented a COVID Safety Plan and are registered as COVID Safe.

When you are going out:

• Always take your mask and wear it where required
• Make sure you check-in to your location
• Maintain physical distancing from others
• Practise good hygiene
