However you choose to pay respect to the diggers and the legacy they bravely laid, there's a collection of events across the Coast this ANZAC Day, plus the chance to play Two-up.

As we reach the end of April in 2021, it's officially been 106 years since the ANZACs set foot on the shores of Gallipoli, Turkey, with their memory still strong in the hearts of the Central Coast community today.

ANZAC Day is a significant day of remembrance for Australia and New Zealand, stemming from the First World War and recognising conflicts both past and present. Essentially, it's a chance to reflect and pay respect, and hope for a future without such conflicts. This year, RSL NSW and the NSW Government have worked together to allow COVID-safe commemorations to proceed. This means RSL clubs across the Central Coast will be holding some special ANZAC Day events on Sunday 25th April.

Whether you're visiting the Coast or a resident, you're invited to attend and support these local Anzac Day Marches and Services across the region to recognise this important day in Australia's modern history.

Lest we forget.
