Wyong is a surburb full of heritage and innovation. From fancy food and historical homesteads to award winning whiskey. This June long weekend, our region will come together for the region's annual harvest festival giving you the chance to enjoy farms, locally made foods, drinks and more! Get your friends together and support our wonderful local community.

The Itinerary

Explore the luscious hinterland that stands strong, inspiring local farmers and restauranteurs who champion paddock to plate to support the wider rural community.

Everywhere you look in Wyong there is a coupling of heritage and innovation. This historical town will offer you something exciting – you just have to go all in.

Alison Homestead

Step back in history

The Homestead is set on two hectares in a rural setting on Wyong's first land grant dating back to 1825. See displays of memorabilia, furniture, toys, household items, photos, equipment, machinery and tools relating to the early settlers of Wyong and surrounds. Enjoy a Devonshire Tea and listen to a historical talk about the property.

Taste of Wyong

Wyong Town Park will host Taste of Wyong where you can enjoy cuisines from the many local restaurants, free family friendly activities and live music from local musicians. Come and join the fun and celebrate the Harvest Festival!

  

  

Amber Lane Distillery

Whiskey Tasting at Cellar Door

Come along to taste award winning whiskey and some of the best whiskey being made in Australia. Learn about the time-honoured alchemical tradition of distillation in Amber Lane's massive 3600 Litre copper still. 

  

  

  

Wyong Creek Public School

Fun day at the creek

Come and join Wyong Creek Public School's "Fun day at The Creek" for an exciting time by the water. Enjoy interactive stalls, arts and crafts, local performances and lots of fun games. Keep bellies full with BBQ food, homemade fresh lemonade & plenty of delicious baked sweet treats.

  

  

Central Coast Council Environmental Education

Platypus Day

Enjoy a day by the river and try and spot a wild platypus, catch waterbugs, test the water quality and listen to talks from experts. Join a birdwatching tour and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Woodbury Inn Park, Mardi.
