Mangrove Mountain and Peats Ridge are teaming with places waiting to take you on a Hinterland adventure. This June long weekend, the Central Coast will come together for the region's annual harvest festival giving you the chance experience new things to do and discover locally made foods, drinks and more! Get your friends together and support our wonderful local community.

The Itinerary

Discover a treasure trove of rural goodness with hidden swimming holes, sunflowers, charming estates and golf courses.

Take a walk through the hinterland or fly over it during Harvest Festival when you visit Mangrove Mountain and Peats Ridge.

The Bloom Barn Farm

Pick your own sunflowers

Pick your own sunflowers and enjoy making them into a beautiful bouquet afterwards. Toast marshmallows in the fire pit and enjoy a coffee from the onsite coffee cart while the kids have their faces painted. Feel free to bring a rug and picnic lunch to take in the sea of sunflowers.

  

The Springs - Quack Shack

Experience the best of winter with our delicious Woodfire Pizza and live music at The Springs, or opt for a sophisticated dining experience in our restaurant. Located in the serene hinterland of Peats Ridge, The Springs offers a tranquil escape for relaxation and enjoyment amidst picturesque surroundings.

  

  

Silver Gully Farm & Mountain Goat Trail

Come on a farm walk with Mountain Goat Trails and experience life on the farm. Walk around the beautiful working farm, enjoy feeding of the cows and alpacas, and hold a baby chick!  Then Silver Gully Farm will be firing up the BBQ serving up home-grown beef sausages 'grown with grass and love'.  

  

Central Coast Soaring Club

Gliding lesson

Take to the skies in a winch glider and smoothly glide over the lovely countryside around Mangrove Mountain. Enjoy this This introduction to gliding, ideal for those who just want to see what it is like take in the view. The flight will be between about 5 minutes and 15 minutes depending on conditions.

  

  

Mangrove Mountain Hall

Stories in Landscape

Immerse yourself in an interactive art installation created by children and young people from the mountains and valleys of the Central Coast in response to the climatic impacts which have affected their communities. The art installation was a co-designed and collaborative project with students from Central Mangrove Public School and local home schooling communities alongside studio Lu & Lu and Lead by Story.

  

  

Westy's Place Field Day

Fun on the farm

Field Day at Westy's Place has activities for everyone to enjoy! Have fun picking your own macadamia nuts and eating what you've picked. The kids will love the jumping castle and face painting stand. Food trucks will be ready to serve you delicious food and there will also be rural irrigation, pumps ad filtration presentations.
