We are lucky enough to be spoilt for choice with fantastic fresh food options and boutique beers, wines and gins on the Central Coast.   This June long weekend, our region will come together for a foodie festival giving you the chance to enjoy locally made foods, drinks and more! Get your friends together and support our wonderful local community. 

Be sure to see our Family Fun schedule too for all your Harvest Festival food and drink events. 

When: Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 June 2023, across the Central Coast's Hinterland

The Itinerary

Fresh food and sunset dinners

The Central Coast will be alive with the smell of food as you travel around the region. Enjoy tasty treats and creative workshops. Browse the fruit and veggies markets picking up some fresh produce to take home with you. End the day rugged up with a woodfire pizza as you watch the winter sun set over the hinterland.

Bright Diets

Eat like an eco warrior

Start the weekend by hearing from dietitians how to improve your own health by following a plant based diet, without nutrition deficiencies and producing zero waste. Booking essential for the workshop. Afterwards enjoy a game of 'FootGolf' at Mangrove Mountain Memorial club and see who plays the best!

  

Sustainable Natives

Restabilising our bushland

Enjoy time to explore this native production nursery and see the diverse range of native plants the nursery propagates and grows to help attract birds and other fauna to the Central Coast. Nursery tours are available to learn about the process how the nursery's work is helping local bush regeneration. Plants can be purchased so you too can grow them at home.

  

Country Women's Association

Delightful cream teas

Who can't resist a traditional homemade Devonshire Tea!  Recharge the batteries at Somersby Hall with a pot of tea and freshly prepared scones, cream and jam! There will be a selection of other light snacks and sweet treats to enjoy too. Afterwards browse the selection of hand crafted art and gifts stalls.

  

Coachwood Nursery

Flower and succulent workshops

Let your creativity flow and make a stunning dried flower arrangement or learn all about succulents at Coachwood Nursery during the Harvest Festival.  Create the most beautiful wall art wreath or a Driftwood and Australian Native table decoration and two posies or learn everything you need to know about succulents. Includes a range of succulent plants to take home. Booking essential!

  

Mountain Growers Market

Support our local producers and makers

Stop by the Mountain Growers Market and support local growers by purchasing their free chemical free fresh and seasonal produce. Once your baskets are full of fresh fruit and veg treat yourself to some delicious hot foods or beautiful homemade art and craft from the other market stalls. As you continue on the Harvest Festival trail stop at Royale Orchids Nursery to see the stunning flowering orchids!

  

The Springs-Quack Shack

Perfect dinner time pizza

Finish the day with a freshly made winter woodfire pizza and a drink, while listening to live music in the Quack Shack. Bring a rug and spend a relaxing afternoon in the hinterland watching the sun set and reflecting on the wonderful day you have had celebrating the local community.

Start the day by getting in festival spirit with live music and filling hungry bellies with great food then follow the harvest trail stopping for a tranquil lunch with delightful views of the valley. Enjoy some chill out time in the afternoon sunshine by relaxing under the gumtrees listening to local bands play.

Glenworth Valley

Glenworth grazing food and wine festival

Start Sunday with friends and family and immerse yourself in a world of entertainment, live music, dancing and not forgetting the delicious food! This incredible festival boasts 90 local vendors including a range of craft beers, wines, gins and not forgetting the array of foods to tickle your taste buds! 

  

  

Angel Sussurri

Countryside lunch

Sit back and relax among the stunning countryside and order lunch at Angel Sussurri while taking in the view of beautiful Yarramalong Valley. Enjoy the listening to the birds chirping while you delight in a mouth-watering menu made from local produce.  Or why not pick up a grazing box for those with a tight packed Harvest Festival schedule who are looking for something quick to eat! Don't forget to pre-order your grazing box in advance and reserve your table for lunch or dinner.

  

Mangrove Mountain Community Hub

Live music under the gumtrees

Next stop is to enjoy the serenity of the outdoors. Lay down a picnic rug underneath the gumtrees and listen to live music while sipping on alcohol free beer. The kids will have a ball in the playground. For those that can't resist, freshly baked scones will be served and can be enjoyed as you browse the historical memorial hall and market stalls.
