Explore more of the Central Coast than you've ever seen before

And discover why it's impossible to see it all in one weekend!

The NSW Central Coast is set for increased visitation and a further boost to the local economy now that our team at Destination Central Coast, of Central Coast Council, has completed a huge multi-year tourism content development project.

We're proud to announce several newly created digital content hubs - or "visitor inspiration centres" - are now available on the destination website for tourists and locals alike to discover lesser known areas of the Central Coast region. We've collaborated with many local tourism operators, creatives and regional stakeholders including Darkinjung LALC, National Parks and Wildlife Service, Destination Sydney Surrounds North, and Destination NSW, to develop the project, which also provided the opportunity to support local travel writers, photographers, videographers, talent agencies and web developers, mapping and specialist trail consultants.

This grant funded project supports economic and social recovery for regional communities impacted by bushfire, such as the Central Coast, and since 2021 has enabled the development of multiple fresh online content hubs on LoveCentralCoast.com that showcase and promote a diverse range of local tourism products, services and experiences.

Fresh experiences

Our new online "visitor inspiration hubs" will now help travellers and locals plan a trip to try the Central Coast's impressive array of lesser-known experiences! This includes curated experiences across our nature, waterways, coastlines, Aboriginal culture, the arts, the hinterland, cuisines, heritage, wellness, shopping, local makers, creators and even destination weddings. Start exploring your area of interest below!

New visitor inspiration hubs to explore

Our destination’s new online "visitor inspiration centres" focus on key tourism themes most affected by the bushfires, designed to raise the profile of niche tourism products and experiences. This extends across areas such as Ecotourism and Nature tourism, Agritourism, Aboriginal tourism, Trails, Destination weddings, Sports events, and School excursions. These hubs provide inspirational, bookable options on where to stay, eat and drink, and things to do across the Central Coast.

The new information hubs will directly impact the Central Coast visitor economy by driving off-peak visitation in diverse locations across the region and promoting an increased length of stay. After all, it's impossible to explore all that the Central Coast offers in just one weekend!
