Join Finn O’Branagáin for a Dramaturgy Masterclass

The Art House Presents

Masterclass: In-Depth Dramaturgy with Finn O’Branagáin

In this one-day Masterclass, Finn O’Branagáin takes participants on deep dive into Dramaturgy for live performance, sharing her knowledge and expertise. What is Dramaturgy and how can it support the creative development of a new work.

This Masterclass will focus on:

  • The intersection of theory and practice. You will unpack how all the elements of theatre come together and interact with each other to create meaning. We all know great theatre when we see it, but dramaturgy is about articulating what works and why.

  • Participants are encouraged to bring their own ideas for works they are developing or would like to create, so that they can ask questions and unpack their creative process. Finn will also talk through some case studies of productions and share some of the key elements of how dramaturgy can support the overall structuring of a new work.

As this is a full day masterclass please bring your own lunch, complimentary tea and coffee will be supplied.
