Ink & Water is a community poetry project celebrating the people and the natural environment of the Central Coast.
You’ll find our ‘writer’s studio’ — colourful, fun, and always open to all — popping up in different locations throughout the festival.
And we need you!
Pull up a seat or settle on a patch of grass and come add your voice to help us weave a community poem, one word at a time.
Find inspiration in the beauty and the community around you. You might share just one word, a phrase, a memory, or even a whole story…
Breathe in the fresh air, take in the surroundings, tap away on a typewriter and see where your imagination takes you.
The Lighthouse Keepers
Raising voices and spirits since… well, a long time ago.
The Lighthouse Keepers are a ragtag crew of musical misfits breathing new life into sea shanties and maritime misadventure. With harmonies as rough as the Pacific and rhythm as steady as a ship’s bell, they belt out traditional maritime work songs, sailor laments, and nautical nonsense—often all at once. Equal parts theatre, music hall, and Central Coast folklore, their performances are a salty salute to coastal life and the songs that kept sailors sane.
No auto-tune. No life jackets. Just voices, accordions, and the occasional splash of rum.
When: Sun 9 November 10am - 2pm with live music from 12pm
Where: Davistown Foreshore
Entry: FREE & family-friendly!
