Meet the Artists of Narara, part of Creative Journey art trail.
A show of art works in the "Fisheries" - a heritage-listed timber building on Research Road Narara - by artists who live and work in the vicinity of Narara Ecovillage.
Works exhibited will include sculpture, printmaking, painting and ceramics. All artists in this proposal are professional-level. Please see support material for more artist info. These bios are very brief and we can expand on them if required. We plan to run an oil-painting Still Life demonstration and possibly a Cosmic walk – an experiential deep ecology experience during the weekend.
Bronwen Bassett
Bronwen Bassett has a master’s degree in Fine Arts (painting) from the university of NSW. She has exhibited in multiple galleries in Sydney and Melbourne, both solo and group shows.

Kristne Pedler
Painter
Kristine Pedler has been a finalist in multiple art competitions (including the Gosford Art Prize) exhibitions has participated in numerous group shows and has had two solo exhibitions. Kristine plans to do an oil painting still life demo on one of the open days.

Lynn Treers
Ceramicist
Lynn Treers is a much-loved member of the Central Coast Potters Society and has been creating, teaching and exhibiting with the society for many years.

John Seed
Sculptor
John Seed has had five exhibitions of his sculpture. Recently he has been facilitating deep ecology workshops which include experiential, participatory, conceptual artworks like the Cosmic Walk.

George Gilmour
Printmaker
George Gilmour studied printmaking with Rebecca Baird and the Pine Street Creative Art Centre and short courses at The National Art School. He works primarily in collograph and woodblock. He has exhibited at galleries in Sydney and at the Art House Wyong. In his art practice he seeks to examine philosophical, sociological and ecological themes through graphical stories.
