Amante Experiences and Photography - Accommodation and Small Group Tours

This listing is great for families, workers, small groups of friends and colleagues and is also suitable for small conferences. It is spacious with all the facilities that you might expect from a home away from home. The wooden floorboards, picture frames and simple decorations throughout add to the ambiance. The accommodation is child friendly and accessible, with plenty of cafes and restaurants in easy walking distance. The famous Long Jetty is only 5 minutes walk from here - which is particularly popular during sunset. You can also choose the longer walk along the lake to The Entrance, especially when the numerous events are held throughout the year. Toowoon Bay is only a few minutes drive from here, which has a lovely boutique shopping area with cafes and restaurants. During the summer months the pool is very popular, as are the local beaches. Wifi is available for your convenience. All the bedding and toiletries are provided and there are a wide range of cooking facilities in the spacious kitchen area. The hot tub downstairs (large bath with jets), is also popular in both the summer and winter months. Our newly built pergola with it's BBQ has been a hit. I'm sure that you will love your stay if you choose to book with us. Please be aware that I live in a granny flat that adjoins the premises. I keep a very low profile, staying inside for much of the time and often going away for the weekends or for longer stays. There have been many occasions when I haven't met the guests. I do not use the outdoor area at all, except occasionally for hanging out the washing. I'm happy for noisy chit chat by our guests in the wee hours of the morning.

Please note, however, that this living space is suitable for up to 7 guests only. No additional visitors are to enter the premises, inside or out, without the prior permission of the owner and specific numbers must be provided. There will be a charge of $50 for each guest each day, if they enter the premises without my prior knowledge or consent. Reasonable numbers are fine with my prior approval. Unfortunately quite a few recent guests have been taking advantage of my facilities. There has been a lot of breakages and disrespectful behaviour within the local community. My sincere apologies to the majority of those that are polite, thoughtful and community minded guests.

Amante Experiences also offer very small group tours for one to six guests. This provides a great alternative to travelling in large groups, which reduces the risk associated with COVID-19. All guests will be required to wear a mask at all times they are in the vehicle, (an eight seater Kia Carnival) and must handle their own luggage. The guests will hire the entire vehicle, so you won't be sharing with those that you don't know. We are offering tours to Central Coast Sips, The Hunter Valley - traditional and Going for Broke - also in the Hunter. We will soon be offering walking tours, cultural tours of various events such as 'The Five Lands Walk' and Photography Courses. As a family run business we take pride in offering you an exclusive, personable experience that promotes other small businesses in the area. You will find the prices extremely competitive as we launch these tours in 2021.

If you are going away with your family for a week or even a few days then what a perfect opportunity to have a photography session with us. Photography sessions require a small deposit to make a booking. However, if you purchase prints then this cost is included in the price of the prints.
