Peninsula Chamber of Commerce

Community. People. Connection

For nearly three decades, the Peninsula Chamber of Commerce has proudly represented the local business community on the Peninsula, addressing a wide range of matters. Our dedicated Executive members volunteer their time to support businesses in our unique centres, including Woy Woy, Umina Beach, and Ettalong. As a voluntary organisation, our main goal is to advocate for our community and shape decisions that have a positive impact. We warmly welcome active participation from individuals who want to contribute to our activities and make a difference in our community.

The Peninsula is a distinctive and vibrant community, surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty. With its picturesque backdrops, including national parks and waterways, it offers stunning waterfront views that add to its charm. Woy Woy serves as the primary commercial and transportation hub, featuring a variety of retail businesses, professional services, and major supermarkets such as Deepwater Plaza and Peninsula Plaza. The waterfront precinct and Woy Woy Channel, with their mix of heritage-listed buildings, cozy cafes, bars, and restaurants, further enhance the towns appeal.

Ettalong Beach, located adjacent to the foreshore, is a bustling hub of tourism and leisure. It boasts a vibrant mix of small retailers, cafes, and restaurants, and is anchored by prominent establishments like the Ettalong Diggers, Ettalong Mantra Resort, Galleria Ettalong Beach, Ettalong Beach Tourist Resort, and Paradiso Theatre. Ettalong Beach serves as a vital connector for waterways between Palm Beach and southern access to the Central Coast region, making it a significant destination for visitors.

Umina Beach is the Peninsula's primary retail hub, offering a diverse range of small to medium retailers, large supermarkets, and popular national businesses. With its combination of stand-alone and boutique retailers, Umina Beach's town centre thrives and contributes to the overall success of the Peninsula.

In addition to its business offerings, the Peninsula provides a wealth of amenities, including open spaces, cycleways, schools, community facilities, and healthcare services, ensuring a well-rounded and convenient lifestyle for residents.

The Peninsula Chamber of Commerce proudly supports various artistic and cultural endeavours, as part of our commitment to creating a thriving business precinct and fostering community engagement across the region.
