The University of Newcastle is proud to again present the Coast Next Gen Art Exhibition again in 2024.
Proudly supported by Central Coast Council and Bouddi Foundation of the Arts, the exhibition boasts contributions including paintings, photography, sculpture and digital design by 34 HSC graduates selected from twelve schools across the Central Coast.
Executive Dean of Central Coast Campuses, Professor Michael Bowyer highlighted the importance of this event in not only for supporting young emerging artists but also for the arts and community in general.
“We are extremely proud to be presenting the Coast Next Gen Art at our Ourimbah Campus for the second year running and encourage members of the public to come along and be inspired by the next generation of local artists.” said Professor Bowyer.
The exhibition will be held at the University of Newcastle’s Ourimbah campus Library and will be open to the public from Monday 19 February until Friday 5 April. Visitors are invited to vote for the People’s Choice award, which will be announced at the end of the exhibition.
