This 4 hour workshop running from 9am - 1pm is perfect for those who have never touched a pottery wheel before, or anyone who needs a good refresher. You'll be learning all the basics of the wheel throwing process.
- Wedging
- Centering
- Forming vessels
- Cleaning your workstation
All clay will be supplied.
By the end of this workshop, you'll pick one or two of your pieces that will be trimmed, glazed, fired and can be picked up around 6-9 weeks later.
You'll also be treated to morning tea consisting of a shared fruit platter, crackers and drink of your choice.
On the day, please bring a towel(and apron if you have one) along with you to dry off, as you will get a little wet and muddy.
We recommend children only over the age of 12 to take part in this workshop. If you're in doubt that your child will be old enough to use the wheel, feel free to contact us.
Unfortunately we do not offer refunds for cancellations within 3 days of the workshop, this includes if you are too sick to attend.
