Following on from their success at Copacabana, this is a second location for a Central Coast favourite.
Burnt Honey is owned and run by Joanna Fairall and Hayley Thorncraft. Joanna hails from the Northern Beaches of Sydney and learned to make coffee shortly after she learned to walk. Whilst Hayley is a true Central Custodian and returned to the area after learning to make killer bread and pastries in Sydney and London.
Hayley and Jo met while working at Black Star Pastry in 2014 and married in 2016, shortly before travelling Europe and the UK to soak up as much bakery inspiration as their minds, Instagram account and tummies could handle. They opened their first bakery in Copacabana in 2019 to a heartwarmingly enthusiastic welcome from the local community and visitors alike.
Burnt Honey is a community bakery at heart, we make all of our pastries and breads on site from scratch using the highest quality and most ethical produce available to us.
We use local suppliers wherever possible and focus a lot of our energy on waste reduction and conscious use and disposal of produce and packaging in an effort to reduce any negative impact that our beloved bakery might have on the local environment and the planet at large.
