Wyong Race Club & Function Centre

Wyong Race Club are talented at hosting winning events, live race meetings, and offer one of the best social and corporate function centres in the district. Wyong are one of five provincial clubs licensed by Racing NSW, hosting 22 race meetings annually.

Serving food designed by the award-winning H&H Catering, Wyong race Club's trackside marquee, The Pavilion, transforms to offer the perfect, fully-equipped space for exhibitions and trade shows, a wedding venue, a place to entertain the kids on the weekend, organise a business conference, or host a school formal.

Wyong Race Club prides itself on being affordably priced, flexible for all kinds of functions, and community spirited with a great network of Members. The Club offers local businesses and charities the opportunity to sponsor an individual race or entire race day, with local rotary clubs regularly hosting fundraising events in their trackside function rooms. 

The Carlton Draught Wyong Gold Cup Carnival is the highlight of their racing calendar. Held across two days in August / September, it is a prestigious showcase of thoroughbred racing talent. During March, they host the Wyong heat of the Polytrack Provincial Championships as it journeys to five respected Provincial tracks on its way to the Randwick final in Autumn. The Christmas festive season sees Wyong Race Club light up with an exciting trilogy of live racing events, including the hugely popular Magic Millions Race Day.

When you catch a live race meeting, you’re guaranteed to experience the action up close and personal – literally feel the horses thundering by. Wyong Race Club is perfectly positioned between Sydney, Newcastle and the Hunter region, with the local train station less than a 5 minute stroll away.

Visitors can purchase General Admission tickets in advance online, or from the Race Day Office. Ticket upgrades are available for every race day, combining entry, Members Stand reserved seating, and a generous luncheon and drinks package.
