Unique heritage, bushtucker and wine tasting experience
Botanicals and Bushtucker with local Aboriginal elder and Winemaker
This is an opportunity to enjoy a fascinating afternoon spent in the leafy surrounds of Holgate on the Central Coast with a local Aboriginal elder. You are invited to experience an unforgettable display of Aboriginal culture combined with a botanical-inspired wine tasting led by a local winemaking expert.
A taste of Heritage in Holgate
This unique and rewarding hands-on experience allows you to learn about the region and its storylines from a local Darkinjung Elder, who will tour you through a range of their culture and traditions. Embrace the spirituality of a cleansing ceremony, and feel connected to the land through the powerful vibrations of the didgeridoo as it's played under the lemon-scented gums at Firescreek Botanical Winery.
After the smoking ceremony and incredible live didgeridoo performance, you will be taken on a tasting tour of Australian native plants (where seasonally possible). A Firescreek winemaker will also personally guide you through a wine tasting and explore how Australian native flora and other botanicals are used to make their unique wines on site.
