Whale Treasure Hunt in Wyrrabalong

Come along on a treasure hunt this school holidays, and learn how to spot whales on their annual migration in Wyrrabalong National Park.

Calling all junior whale watchers. Come and join us for a whale watching expedition at Crackneck Point lookout.

Bring your binoculars and learn how to spot whales on their annual migration along Australia's eastern coast. Your NPWS guide will tell you all about how they survive their long and treacherous journey.

Use this new skill to treasure hunt as many whales as you can, and record your findings on your whale treasure hunt card. We’ll follow up this fun activity with some clay whale creations.

You’ll also be rewarded with spectacular coastal views from the lookout in Wyrrabalong National Park.

This tour is kindly supported by Central Coast Council.

Don’t forget to bring suitable clothing and footwear.
